“ This place absolutely rules. I stay a few blocks from here and I frequent this restaurant very often. It doesn’t matter if you’re getting some of the fine cuisine that they offer, or if you’re getting a frozen drink to go this place rocks. Always friendly. Very attentive. This place has it all. Whether you’re going here for a quick lunch at work or you’re trying to experience a nice weekend night out with your lady this place has what you’re looking for. They offer live music, which is very good. And they are overall the best place in town. Go check them out. ”

We went on a Friday night and they had some nice live music that really complimented the decor and made one feel as if they could have been in Havana. We loved our main courses: the fried snapper, and the seafood sampler served inside of a sliced open pineapple. The plantains served as a side were amazing. The dessert was fabulous, it was a banana fried in what tasted like a cinnamon role batter and served with ice cream. Will definitely be back. ”

The seasoning was perfect, and the umami flavor was just right. It says on the menu that the paella takes about 40 minutes to prepare, but it actually came out a bit quicker than expected, and I was completely satisfied. If you're visiting Savannah, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend! ”

“ We really enjoyed our visit to Rancho Alegre tonight for dinner. The restaurant had a menu with a nice selection of proteins prepared with a wide selection of accompaniments. Honestly, our meals reminded us of our trip to Havana 7 years ago. My wife had the plato mixto with chicken, pork & ropa vieja. I had the shrimp in garlic sauce. All of the food was amazing. Our server was cute and friendly guiding us to our selections. Overall, it was a great experience that we look forward to repeating. Very much worth your time and entertainment dollars. ”
